Baptism (Simplified Chinese Discovery Series)

Since ancient times, baptism has been widely considered a sign of church membership. Some churches baptize infants, while others require a profession of faith before baptism. Some believe baptism is essential for salvation, while others consider baptism to be far less important than spiritual belonging to Christ. How being baptised varies as well, including sprinkling, pouring, and immersion. Some baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, while others baptize solely in the name of Jesus.
In light of these debates, in the following pages, pastor and Bible teacher Bill Crowder explores the background and meaning of baptism and what consensus we can reach.
