Rhythms of Rest
Simply be still and spend time with the Lord!
Selah is a term you will find many times in the Psalms and it's understood as a pause or a rest. That's exactly what these 40 devotions will do for you . . . give you the freedom in the middle of your go-go-go, minute-by-minute schedule to just be with God. Take a moment to retreat and hear from God, to relax in His love, and to remember His protection, provision, and promises.
You'll be renewed each day by the personal stories, reflections, questions, quotes, and Scripture passages shared by your sisters in Christ. Suzan Johnson Cook and fellow contributing authors are leaders and influencers within Black and multicultural communities and churches, and their devotional themes speak strength to a woman:
- Seasons of Life
- Soul-Care
- Self-Care
- Stillness
- Safe-Space Sisterhood
- Spirit-Led Living
- Success
- Starting Over
Because you do so much for your family, your church, and your world, do something for yourself! Rhythms of Rest gives you space for retreat and renewal with your heavenly Father.
