Nascido e criado em East Chicago, Indiana, Warren obteve seu diploma de Bacharel em Divindade no Northern Baptist Theological Seminary (onde conheceu sua esposa, Betty). Ele pastoreou várias igrejas, incluindo a Moody Bible Church em Chicago, Illinois, ensinou em vários seminários e escreveu muitos livros antes de se estabelecer em Lincoln, Nebraska. Wiersbe faleceu em maio de 2019.

Dr. Warren Wiersbe was a pastor, teacher, writer, husband, and father of four.  Born and raised in East Chicago, Indiana, Warren received his Bachelor of Divinity degree at Northern Baptist Theological Seminary (where he met his wife, Betty).  He pastored a number of churches, including Moody Bible Church in Chicago, Illinois, taught at several seminaries, and authored many books before settling in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Wiersbe passed away in May 2019.
