Perhaps you have a very negative impression of Christianity because you have encountered Christians who are used to making baseless criticisms, those who try to impose their values on you, or make you feel like a 'sinner'. Some hypocritical Christians are as corrupt (or even more so) as the average person. But let's put these aside for a moment and think about Jesus, who is the core of the Christian faith. Let's take a look at what kind of person Jesus is, examine His words and actions, and then consider whether He is worthy of trust.

Dr. Constantine Campbell is an ordained deacon in the Anglican Church of Australia, a New Testament scholar, a professor, an author, a musician, and a preacher.  He is Associate Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, and lives in Illnois with his wife Bronwyn, and their three children.
